it 3-1 with a volley from a free-kick by Tsimikas, but Liverpool easily pulled
one back and Benfica broke the offside trap and scored twice.
"At one point we were
6-2 and maybe we relaxed," said Jota.
Reaching the final in a
quarter-final draw with two outsiders Benfica and Villarreal is almost a dream
scenario for Liverpool, though Captain Jordan Henderson takes nothing for
granted.
"They are a very good
team in their own right, they beat Juventus and Bayern Munich, two very good
teams," Henderson said of Villarreal.
