The loss of the final T20 World Cup 2016 against the West Indies was very heartbreaking for England. England had one hand on the world cup until Carlos Brathwaite hit four constant sixes to Ben Stokes and turn the match to the West Indies side. Three years to this, England won ODI World Cup and they are among the favorites for this year's T20 World Cup. T20 World Cup 2021 is scheduled to start this Sunday in the United Arab Emirates and Oman.

Chris handed over bowling to Ben Stokes, leaving West Indies with 19 runs on 6 balls. Carlos hit 4 consecutive sixes to Ben and the match slipped out of their hands.

"I'll never take myself to that place again," said the 33-year-old seamer. "I definitely won't be thinking that way after bowling the 19th over until it's fully, fully over.

"We tend to laugh about it now, but we came out stronger for it as a unit.

"I wouldn't say it haunted us too much. Someone has to come up victorious and for something like that to be done in the last over, you can't write that."

Jordan says he is confident that now our team can make more clearer decisions in challenging moments which led us to victory in ODI World Cup 2019.

“The team was on autopilot," Chris said. "In any situation, you saw the game slow down a little bit and everyone came up with an informed and correct decision."

Despite the absence of two injured World Cup heroes -- Stokes and fast bowler Jofra Archer -- England have Morgan, Jos Buttler, and the world's number one-ranked T20 batsman Dawid Malan.

Jordan said the team’s experience was a key asset as England seek to become the first side to hold both global limited-overs trophies at the same time.

"This team is stick together for so long, the chemistry is there, the talent is there," he said. "All the ingredients are there for us to make a decent run in this T20 World Cup."
