Hatters first team coach Inigo Idiakez believes that having one of the best team ethics in the division will play a huge role in Town's chances of survival this term.

He said: “The important thing for me is if we go and give 100 per cent, then I think we’ll be all right in this division. “As a team I think maybe we are one of the best teams in the league, not maybe as individuals, but as a team we are really good.

"If we go to every single match from now and give everything, the last two months I think we’ll be all right in the division. But we have to give 100 per cent, no less, that's the message we have to send and they have to trust on us.”

Assistant boss Gary Brabin echoed the thoughts of Idiakez as well, saying: “No one likes negativity, but I genuinely believe and we all believe, we think we’re one of the best sides in the league.

“I think the difference is all the other teams have that little bit of individual quality that can win them the game, we’ve got a good honest bunch of lads who have done an amazing job in the last few years. “They’re competing at this level and as a team, every game we’ve played in, we can only think of two or three we haven't been competing as well as we can.”

“Managers, coaching staff, teams have been very complimentary about the way we play and I believe that we are a good side, one of the best sides in the league, but we don’t have the luxury of an Mitrovic who has got that little bit of quality who can win games.”
